The Other Woman

I spent a good part of 2021 working on a short film entitled “The Other Woman.” After submitting to 10 film festivals in 2022 throughout the US (primarily “horror” film festivals), I was thrilled that 4 of them selected my film. I was awarded “Finalist” for Extended Short Film at The Thing In The Basement Horror Fest in Washington and Short Film “Honorable Mention” at the Wreak Havoc Horror Film Festival in North Carolina. This was my second attempt at creating a short film, so any acknowledgement or accolades was truly gratifying. I am now able to post my short film on my Blog (see below) since all the film festivals have concluded. It was a very fun and challenging project. I owe a great deal of gratitude to my amazing cast and most specifically, to Ireland Reed. Ireland always showed up with a smile on her face and worked tirelessly with no complaints. I couldn’t have done it without her! As with the first project, I learned a lot. There were some great successes and some unfortunate blunders. This experience will only help to refine my work with respect to any future projects…and that’s what makes the journey even more exciting.
